The Institute for Education, Research, and Scholarships (IFERS) is actively involved in medical and health research including but not limited to the following:
Type 1 Diabetes
In partnership with EASE T1D (Education, Awareness, Support, Empowerment - Type 1 Diabetes) to educate parents and doctors as well as to find cures.
Immune System Regeneration
We work with scientists to repair and improve human immune system, reverse immune aging of thymus (which produces T cells for adaptive immune system), prevent organ transplant rejection, arrest autoimmune diseases, and facilitate islet cell transplantation for curing Type 1 Diabetes. Repairing and improving the human immune system is the key to keeping us healthy regardless of our physical age.
In partnership with OurTism to help families to deal with autism.
In partnership with The Sean Costello Memorial Fund for Bipolar Research to raise the awareness of bipolar disorder and to find cures.
In MOU with USC Davis School of Gerontology to find cures to age-related diseases.
